Saturday, August 22nd, 2009 - 8PM Choreographer/media artist Nell Breyer, and dancers/choreographers Alissa Cardone, Lorraine Chapman and Bronwen MacArthur collaborated to create a new work that is a natural extension of an artistic exchange that took place during a New England Foundation for the Arts Regional Dance Development Initiative. The work addresses the anxieties of three women in an increasingly dispersed, high-speed, distributed culture, while exploring the crossover between each artist's individual movement language, media and aesthetics. The artists use the metaphor of digital media as an enveloping, inescapable extension of the body itself.
