Box Office Policy

The Box Office opens one hour in advance of every performance. Patrons are welcome to come early and enjoy a glass of wine in our Shell Garden. We encourage all patrons to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the performance in case it is sold out and you need to park in an offsite lot.

Late Seating

Late seating is not guaranteed. If you have not checked in with the Box Office by the advertised start time of the performance, we reserve the right to give your ticket away. We will do our best to seat patrons who are late to a performance if it is possible to do so without significantly interrupting the performance experience. 

Mature Content

Adult/Family Classes 

  • Masks are encouraged but not required indoors.

  • In some instances, we may need to defer to a teacher or artist’s stricter mask policy. If this is the case we will email participants ahead of time.

  • Most classes will take place in The Yard’s Open Air Studio, allowing for ample airflow except in the event of inclement weather.

  • No more than 20 individuals, including instructors, will be allowed in a class at a time. 

  • We ask that all patrons who have any symptoms of illness, have recently been exposed to COVID-19, or are sharing a household with someone who is ill, stay at home. In such cases, your class registration will be refundable.

To request a refund or exchange, please call (508) 645-9662 or email info@dancetheyard.org. Unless due to illness, ticket refunds and exchanges require 48 hours notice. 

Yard Access

The Yard Access program is designed to make Yard programs accessible to a wider portion of our community. If our ticket prices deter you from participating in Yard performances or other programs for financial reasons, the Yard Access program is for you.

With Yard Access, most Yard events will be a flat rate of $10. Only one ticket is redeemable at this price per event. You must register for Yard Access in advance, and it takes approximately 24 hours for our staff to process enrollment in the program.
