COvid-19 and Masking Policy 2023

Thank you in advance for helping keep our community healthy!

Performances 

  • Masks are encouraged but not required indoors.

  • Consumption of food or drink indoors will not be permitted.

  • We ask that all patrons who have any symptoms of illness, have recently been exposed to COVID-19, or are sharing a household with someone who is ill, stay at home. In such cases, your ticket will be refundable. 

Adult/Family Classes 

  • Masks are encouraged but not required indoors.

  • In some instances we may need to defer to a teacher or artist’s stricter mask policy. If this is the case we will email participants ahead of time.

  • Most classes will take place in The Yard’s Open Air Studio, allowing for ample airflow except in the event of inclement weather.

  • No more than 20 individuals, including instructors, will be allowed in a class at a time. 

  • We ask that all patrons who have any symptoms of illness, have recently been exposed to COVID-19, or are sharing a household with someone who is ill, stay at home. In such cases, your class registration will be refundable. 

Kids Do Dance 

  • Masks are encouraged but not required indoors.

  • No more than 17 students will be allowed to register for each session.

  • We ask that all students who have any symptoms of illness, have recently been exposed to COVID-19, or are sharing a household with someone who is ill, stay at home. In such cases, a 50% refund will be available up until the third day of the session. 

 
 

The Yard will continue to monitor the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Chilmark Board Of Health guidance. We are committed to meeting or exceeding their health and safety standards. We reserve the right to change our COVID-19 policies at any point in time. Updates to the policy will be posted here or emailed to participants in advance.
