ABOUT THE COMPANY
DANCETHEYARD is The Yard’s resident dance collective directed by Jesse Keller Jason and Alison Manning which employs the working artists of The Yard’s staff as creators, educators and performers. It has become a part of The Yard’s greater service mission presenting performances for the public, providing educational residencies and dance making programs for children and adults, along with other community based events on and off Martha’s Vineyard. The collective has been presented at numerous New England and New York City venues including Jacob’s Pillow, West End Theater and Triskelion Arts to name a few. The directors and artists have taught at university and college dance programs around the country including NYU, Ohio University, Wesleyan College and Marymount Manhattan College.
