DURING KidsDODance
KidsDoDance is a summer creativity class for kids designed by NYC-based dance educator Deborah Damast. The instructors are Yard staff members or dance educators who have come to The Yard to specifically teach this course.During class, the instructors will lead kids in a positive, creative environment. They’ll be encouraged to write, draw, dance, and act as they develop new ways to express their ideas. At the end of each week, the class will present their work to parents and guardians during the Friday class time. Family Share Day happens every Friday at 9:30am, please stay with your child at drop off and family members and friends are welcome to attend and enjoy the event. Lemonade and cookie reception follows in the Shell Garden. Be advised: Family Share Days usually last 2 hours.
AFTER CLASS
You may pick up your child at the Open Air Studio. Be sure to sign them out with the instructor!

Can I casually stop by?
In the summertime, there is always a Yard staff member in our office between 9:00 - 5:00, Monday - Friday. You’re welcome to stop by to learn more about upcoming shows, become a member, or just to say hi! Unfortunately, we cannot let unscheduled guests visit with rehearsing artists, since rehearsals are closed.
In the wintertime, our office is open less frequently. Please give us a call at 508-645-9662 or write to info@dancetheyard.org to schedule a time to stop by for a visit.
