that’s a wrap on our 49th season!

After over a year without visiting artists living and working on The Yard’s campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were delighted to welcome artists back to safely create and perform. From June to August, we hosted seven choreographers and their collaborators for creative residencies to develop new and in-process work. Each residency included opportunities for our community on Martha's Vineyard to interact with the choreographer’s work. We were so grateful to bring live dance back to the Vineyard, despite all the challenges of this time. And boy did our resident artists perform!

We invite you to keep scrolling to learn more about these artists and experience the power of their work for yourselves

we couldn’t have done this alone.
